Julia Ebner

Julia Ebner's research focuses on the far-right, online radicalisation, hate speech, disinformation and conspiracy myths. Based on undercover research within extremist movements, she published two bestselling books that have been translated into multiple languages, and recently published Going Mainstream: How Extremists Are Taking Over has just been released.

Jennie King

Jennie King is a Senior Fellow at ISD. Previously, she served as ISD's Director of Climate Disinformation Research and Policy, where she led initiatives to transform ISD's digital research into actionable frontline programs and responses.

Jakob Guhl

Jakob Guhl works within the Digital Research Unit and with ISD Germany. His research focuses on the far-right, Islamist extremism, hate speech, disinformation and conspiracy theories.

Łukasz Janulewicz

Łukasz Janulewicz is a Senior Analyst at ISD, focusing on climate disinformation in Poland, Germany and the UK. His experience includes working in government, research and education in Germany, Poland and Hungary. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Kent.

Richard Kuchta

Richard is a Senior Analyst focusing on the research of extremism, FIMI, disinformation, and platform regulation, with a particular specialisation on the Digital Services Act.

Christian Schwieter

Christian Schwieter is a Fellow at ISD and a PhD candidate at the Department of Media Studies at Stockholm University, where he investigates the impact of European platform governance efforts on far-right activity on social media.

Marisa Wengeler

Marisa Wengeler is an Educator at the Business Council for Democracy (BC4D), an adult education project about digital citizenship. She trains employees on building resilience against hate speech, disinformation and conspiracy narratives online. Previously, she worked with different publishing houses on subscription and audience engagement strategies. She holds an M.A. in Journalism and Communication Science from the Free University of Berlin, where she studied mobilisation strategies and topics of populist and anti-democratic actors in digital networks.
